I grin from ear to ear when I hear our kids come in the door. Emmie squeals out for Liam, “Dada!” Kaitlynn rushes to Niall’s side calling out for him a little, “Da!” Theo claps his hands, “My Mummy! My Babies! Hooray!” I laugh and smile as Karen sits Emmie on Niall’s bed and takes Lana from Liam. “Da, I missed you!” I hear Kaitlynn. I love how much she loves him. ~Z
I smile, “I missed you too Kait,” Liam picked up Emmie off the bed who was fussing for him and Kaitlynn sits at the end of the bed, “so, were you good for nana Karen?” I ask Kaitlynn since she was the only one who could truly answer me. “Yes, but it wasn’t much fun at home,” she admitted to me, “It’s okay, me, mummy and daddy will be home soon and things will go back to normal, well kind of.” ~N
