“I almost made you pancakes but I changed my mind. I didn’t think you’d like that much sugar so early in the morning. I made Kaitlynn and Theo bacon but I’ve not really seen you eat meat very much.” I try to explain my choice. “You need lots of protein while you nurse so eggs sounded like my best option.” I sit in a chair next to him and got quiet. ~Z

I say thank you one more time before I start picking at the food. I knew I had to eat but I didn’t want too. I ate little bits of food at a time. When I had eaten a majority of the eggs and fruit and had a bit of the toast I decided I was done. I got up and threw the rest of it in the trash knowing I wouldn’t want to finish it later. ~N
