I nod and follow you outside to get your shoes. We’re still holding hands which makes me happy. She bends down to pick up her shoes and then turns and looks at me. I’m looking at her and I wanna kiss her, not on the cheek this time, but how Aunt Gemma and Uncle Ash kiss, on the lips. I don’t know how, not really. Daddy says sometimes the best way to learn is to just do it. So I pull her closer to me like I’ve seen Unlce Ash do with Aunt Gemma and I slowly because I don’t wanna screw this up and press my lips to hers. Uncle Ash said once both lips have to move together. I was shocked mostly, I didn’t pull away from him though. I had seen mummy kiss da’ and daddy like this so I knew it wasn’t bad. I didn’t know what to do though. It was weird, but nice at the same time. ~K
